Born from a deep love for spoken word, poetry, and the raw power of storytelling, this mobile creative platform transcends traditional venue limitations. It's a sanctuary for voices that demand to be heard, a haven for those who find rhythm in words, and a home for artists, dreamers, and rebels alike, wherever they may gather.

Founded by Janiece Spence (also known as Impact Poet, Ms. JuruDaWise), an author and entrepreneur with a vision for blending art, business, and authenticity, A Spoken Space brings the power of open mic experiences to any venue. From heartfelt performances to deep, thought-provoking conversations, each event is an experience—one that lingers long after the mic is turned off.

While A Spoken Space can transform any location into a creative haven, its spiritual home base is at Aub's Lounge - Gourmet Banana Bread & Poetry. Through a dynamic collaboration with Aubrieann Johnson, these two independent businesses create something magical when they come together. At Aub's Lounge, poetry meets the comfort of homemade, flavor-packed banana bread that's anything but ordinary. With over 30+ flavors, each loaf complements the poetic experience perfectly. Adding to the culinary artistry, Aub's Lounge also features a rotating selection of gourmet soups, creating the perfect combination of comfort and creativity.

A digital innovation hub creating alternative social platforms that connect communities with authentic, non-traditional experiences. Happy Duck challenges conventional social algorithms, offering a human-centered approach to digital connection.
